Speech

By: George Agbay

Honestly I really dont do poetry nor often read poems. For me its just people telling about something. I never did appreciate their meaning but this poem change my thoughts or perception on poetry.

The title of the poem is "let's do it anyway", its about how you deal with the struggles in life in a positive way. No matter what life throws at you, you still keep moving on. It gives off this positive feel that gives you motivation like "When life is full of sufferings and hardships, you might be depressed, let's just live life anyway"

Why I love this poem?? its because helps you become a better/ positive person in life. It teaches you that regardless of all the hardships and strife you all need to keep on living for the greater good. That's why I chose this as my most beautiful poem.

Sonnet About Music
By George Agbay

A vast dark space, I sit here, silently,
my music serves as my only source of light
When I'm alone, he is my only company
he tries to get rid all my single fright

Music is always created with love
A single candle alone in the dark
When I'm listening feels like I'm a  dove
but music gave it light with a big spark.

But music also gives off a bad tone
Silence takes its place, painful words goes through
A surge of pain, pulses your heart to stone
But music is not music with out those two.

Music's love or what ever it can be
Music's the life that is inside me.

It was one of those rainy nights where I should've been at home. Sleeping, or probably watching Game of Thrones but we are all asked to watch and facilitate the event that evening so instead of having a great weekend, I’ve been on a duty.

Actually September 17 is a time to relax since it’s Saturday but since the field demonstration and Pardo night happened, it was no longer a rest day, but a stress day. After dancing under the heat of the sun in the morning, later that night, we went to Pardo church because we ( grade 10 students) are asked to facilitate the event  at the Pardo Church.  September is the month when the people in the vicinity of Pardo celebrate the feast in honor of the Patron Sto. Tomas De Villanueva.

Here are some pics of Pardo Night:
